Another Baby Princess

We found out we were pregnant with baby #3 at the end of February and it felt like a miracle. In the summer of 2015 we were basically told that IVF was our only chance of having another child and we were beyond devastated. I mean, who has $12,000 sitting around to spend on IVF?? Not me. Well, after lots of tests, a surgery, waiting, more testing, and some medication... we were able to beat the odds and conceive without IVF. My doctor was so shocked and excited for us and we were obviously over the moon.

We told our families on Easter when I was about 8 weeks...

And the FB world found out when I was about 12 weeks...

12 week ultrasound. Looks more like a baby!

We debated finding out the gender of baby #3 prior to our 20 week ultrasound, but ultimately decided we could wait. And although many people were guessing it would be a boy, Matt and I were both leaning toward baby being another girl.

At the ultrasound the tech said baby looked perfect and was growing right on track which was awesome to hear. And when the tech said baby was a girl I felt so excited and happy, like I was always meant to have three daughters. After the appointment we bought the girls pink cupcakes to surprise them that baby was a girl. Chelsea was over the moon as she had been hoping for another sister.

As soon as we found out we were having another girl the name debate started. It felt hopeless at first, but we seemed to quickly find a name we liked and agreed on. We had been considering names that start with A because we are kinda cheesy and thought it'd be cute to have the girls be C, B, and A. And so, baby girl will be Adelyn Danielle. I just adore it. I also love the middle name we picked because it's a small way to honor and remember my dad, Daniel. This year will mark the 10th year he's been gone and as I was his third daughter I thought it would be perfect to include his name for my third daughter.

I'm approaching week 24 now and feel great. I'm exhausted easily and sleep is becoming more difficult, but overall, I feel complete joy and happiness being pregnant. I'm excited to start planning the nursery and buy a few new things for baby Addy. Chelsea and Brooke both seem to understand that a new baby will be in our family in a few short months. It is absolutely adorable how they will kiss my belly and tell baby they love her. I am such a lucky momma!
