Baby #2

We found out in May that baby #2 is on the way and we couldn't be more excited! My due date is January 29th, so I'm a little over 12 weeks now.

My 11 week blump

Finding out I was pregnant with this baby was just as amazing and exciting as it was with Chelsea. I was just as nervous at my first doctor's appointment, waiting for the ultrasound and praying to see something. Luckily, everything has gone smoothly so far and baby seems right on track. At my 11 week appointment I got to see the baby doing flips while the NP checked the heartbeat (150s). It was so surreal. I am already in love.

I cannot wait to see how Chelsea reacts to having a baby brother or sister. I don't think she really understands anything yet, but if I ask her to kiss the baby she will come kiss my stomach. So cute! If I ask her if she wants a sister or a brother she always says sister too. I'm sure it'll be an adjustment to have another baby in the house but I think she'll be an amazing big sister.

I already posted a pregnancy announcement pic on FB of Chelsea holding a sign saying big sister, but here is a different announcement I made a few weeks ago. I thought it was kinda cute.

Other than exhaustion I don't really feel pregnant. I'm sure that'll be changing in the next few weeks as my blump becomes more of a baby bump. My 29th birthday is next weekend and I'll be starting the second trimester. Holy cow!
