We went out of town for a few days and it was amazing! I really wanted to go to the ocean for my birthday so we made the trip into a babymoon - a getaway before the baby comes where hubby and I could spend some quality time together. I've been to Monterey a few times before but it was nice to go without having any real plans. We were able to walk around and eat some local fare and just enjoy being together. It was perfect. I am sad that the babymoon is over but excited for the weeks to come. We put in an offer on a house a few weeks ago and after some drama and back-and-forth we came to an agreement with the sellers. We have already had the home/pest inspection and the results were good - nothing serious to correct, just some minor fixes. The appraisal is still in the works but as long as it goes well we should be able to close in a few weeks. We are beyond excited so keep your fingers crossed for us!
We have our 'Late Pregnancy and Hospital Tour' class this week at the hospital. I'm excited to get a tour of the hospital to see the nursery and the birthing rooms. We also have our 28 week appointment and glucose screening this week. I'm not looking forward to the glucose screening but hopefully the results will be good. I'm sure I'll update my baby stats after this weeks appointment...
And a little shout out to hubby - I love you! You are such a good hubby and will make such a great Daddy. Muah!
