After we found out baby is a girl hubby and I went shopping. It was fun knowing that we can actually buy something and have it be gender specific. We didn't get too much - just little things like a baby book, some blankets and jammies. There is still plenty of time to go crazy on pink and purple stuff so we thought we'd start slow. Besides, we are going to try and pick more neutral colors and styles for things that we will keep a long time - like furniture.
We are still thinking about names but it has become abundantly clear that I wish people would stop asking. I just get so frustrated when people ask "so what names do you like" and then once they hear all they do is give me their opinion. I mean, everyone gets to name something in their life - a child, a pet, an imaginary friend. This is MY time people, so quit giving me your input! Hubby and I will make the decision and you will all find out in October. I am quite sure that whatever name we pick that you will love our daughter the same. I don't want to have all these stories in my head about how you told me you didn't like the name I picked so... enough! stop asking me her name! stop giving me your opinion! If you want to name something, buy a stuffed animal for yourself! :) That being said, yes, our favorite name is still Chelsea. I don't care if you don't like it and you are free to complain about it in the privacy of your own home. (As I do about some of the names you all have picked.) So, unless I directly ask you to help me choose a name, leave it alone!

Here's the latest about me and baby girl:
How far along? 20 wk 6 days
Weight gain? 6.5 lbs at last appointment
How big is baby? According to my phone app she is 12 ounces and 10 1/2 inches.
Maternity clothes? Yes
Food cravings? I feel like I am mostly back to my regular eating habits. Some things taste different and I don't like them as much as I used to but oh well.
Labor signs? nope
Stretch marks? no
How are you feeling? Still tired and since the weather has gotten warmer my feet have started swelling which hasn't been pleasant. Overall though, I am excited and starting to enjoy being pregnant.
What am I looking forward to? Since I've felt baby move mostly every day for the last two weeks I cannot wait for hubby to feel her. I know he's anxious and I just can't wait to see the expression on his face.
What I miss? Laying and sleeping on my stomach. Side sleeping isn't really my favorite.
Sleep? Eh... I wish we had a bigger bed.
Best moment this week? Finding out baby is a girl! I loved seeing hubby's face when the tech told us we were having a girl. He was so happy and he squeezed my hand so tight. It was so special.
