8 Weeks!

We had our first prenatal appointment and ultrasound yesterday. Here's a pic of our little pumpkin:

Baby is measuring a few days behind but the doc didn't want to change the due date yet. Either way the due date is late October! 

Here are some stats to keep you updated as I progress: 

How far along? 8 wk 2 days 

Weight gain? Maybe half a pound

How big is baby? 1.5 cm

Maternity clothes? Not yet but I did look at them last weekend. I feel bloated a lot and hate wearing anything that is tight when I'm sitting which is almost everything these days...

Food cravings? Mostly starchy and/or salty food

Labor signs? Definitely not

Stretch marks? Not yet

How are you feeling? Nausea! All the time!

What am I looking forward to? Hearing the heart beat again in 3 weeks

What I miss? Starbucks chai latte!!!!

Sleep? Tired and ready for bed by 8 most nights, trouble sleeping if I can smell anything

Best moment this week? Seeing my little pumpkin and hearing its heartbeat for the first time!

I've been taking a picture of myself every week but I won't post all of them, here's me yesterday at 8 wk 1 day! My shirt is kind of baggy, I don't really think you can tell a difference from when I was not pregnant and now.
