Fibroadenomas

Okay, the results are in. Good news! No cancerous cells, no pre cancerous cells, and no abnormal looking cells. The lumps are fibroadenomas as suspected.

Yes, of course I'm thrilled, but there is still a debate going on in my head over whether to have them removed or not. I mean, they are still tumors! The doc recommends leaving them in and having ultrasounds done every six months for 2 years. If that is Option A then Option B is to have a surgical consult to decide whether I should have them removed. Well, my gut says to take them out, but it isn't as strong as it was before. I still having thinking to do...

The soreness from the biopsy is relenting some. The problem is that the site of the second biopsy is perfectly situated so that the very edge of my underwire presses against it. Ouch. All day. The tylenol helps and hopefully once I can remove the bandaging the skin won't feel so stretched all the time.

It's more resting on the couch so I don't develop any hematomas; luckily it's Thursday and good tv night.
